SV	En vond een zekeren Jood, met name Aquila, van geboorte uit Pontus, die onlangs van Italie gekomen was, en Priscilla, zijn vrouw, (omdat Claudius bevolen had, dat al de Joden uit Rome vertrekken zouden), en hij ging tot hen;

ASV	And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, a man of Pontus by race, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome: and he came unto them;
BE	And there he came across a certain Jew named Aquila, a man of Pontus by birth, who not long before had come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had given orders that all Jews were to go away from Rome: and he came to them;

Darby	and finding a certain Jew by name Aquila, of Pontus by race, just come from Italy, and Priscilla his wife, (because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome,) came to them,
ELB05	Und als er einen gewissen Juden fand, mit Namen Aquila, aus Pontus gebürtig, der kürzlich aus Italien gekommen war, und Priscilla, sein Weib, (weil Klaudius befohlen hatte, daß alle Juden sich aus Rom entfernen sollten), ging er zu ihnen,
LSG	Il y trouva un Juif nommé Aquilas, originaire du Pont, récemment arrivé d'Italie avec sa femme Priscille, parce que Claude avait ordonné à tous les Juifs de sortir de Rome. Il se lia avec eux;

Sch	Und dort fand er einen Juden namens Aquila, aus Pontus gebürtig, der vor kurzem samt seiner Frau Priscilla aus Italien gekommen war (weil Claudius befohlen hatte, daß alle Juden aus Rom weichen sollten);

Web	And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome) and he came to them.
Weym	Here he found a Jew, a native of Pontus, of the name of Aquila. He and his wife Priscilla had recently come from Italy because of Claudius's edict expelling all the Jews from Rome. So Paul paid them a visit;
